2024 Summer AI Hackathon by FluensTech

As the programming community grows, many outstanding projects go unrecognized. FluensTech, a newly established organization, aims to showcase exceptional programming work and bring deserved attention to its creators. Our goal is to promote the winners of our challenges across various platforms, providing them with greater visibility and opportunities.

We chose to host hackathons as a core part of our mission because they provide a dynamic environment for programmers to innovate, collaborate, and showcase their talents. These events are not just competitions but opportunities for participants to solve complex problems, learn from one another, and gain the recognition they deserve. By offering a platform for these creative minds, we help bridge the gap between brilliant ideas and the broader community, fostering both individual growth and collective advancement in the field.

After careful consideration, we chose to focus on one of the most compelling and relevant topics in the programming world today: Artificial Intelligence. To provide a more targeted exploration of this vast field, we narrowed our focus to three key areas: Text AI, Image AI, and Motion Capture AI. These categories highlight some of the most impactful and transformative developments in AI, showcasing the advancements that are shaping the future of technology and its applications.

Hey! My name is Rithvik and I am currently a rising Junior at the University of Maryland, College Park. My key interests lie in full-stack development and the applications of artificial intelligence. Through this project, I aimed to explore the capabilities of generative AI and the power it can offer via a RAG system. I also tried to get accustomed to a particular tech stack while contributing to the development of WebAssist. As I enter my third year in college, I hope to further dive into the complexities of machine learning by taking courses in upper level math and deep learning, while adding more technologies to my stack.
